Weigher Machine is used to automatically weigh and dispense granular and powder items. It comprises of an input hopper, below which a vibratory feeder is located. This feeder takes the material from the hopper and feeds it to the weighing pan. The Material gets weighed accurately in this weighing pan. Next, the feeder has 2 modes of operation, coarse mode and fine mode. In the coarse Mode most of the material is fed into the weighing pan and as soon as the weight reaches the bulk weight it shifts to the time feed mode. Lastly, as soon as the weight reaches the final target weight the vibrators stop and the material can be dispensed. This ensures high weight accuracy.

 

The above system is called a Single Head Weigher machine. Furthermore, to increase the speed of weighing you can cascade more number of weighing heads. As a standard configuration the weigher machine is available in one Head, Two head, Four Head, Six Head, Eight Head and Twelve Head systems.

 

Talking about the speed of weighing, weigher machine can pack from 6 packs/ min to 70 packs/ min depending on the configuration of the weigher machine. Depending on your application, you can chose the configuration of your weigher machine. 

 

You can pack multiple type of items like, in granules like Namkeen, Whole Spices, Snacks, Tea, Chips, Pulses, Rice, Pasta, Dry Fruits, Fox Nut, Vermicelli, Poha, Murmura etc. Also, all these can be packed in different weight ranges from a few grams to 1kg. If you are packing bags of 5kg/10kg/25kg or 50kg you can choose a bigger system. In addition, the weigher machine is very easy to use. We adjust the settings to our needs. It also has a memory setting where you can store upto 20 different program settings which can be recalled at the click of a button.

 

The more advanced models are equipped with auto tuning and weight tolerance band functions. While the machine is running it automatically keeps adjusting itself to maintain the weight accuracy. If for some reason the weight goes out of the tolerance band specified that particular weighing head stops dispensing weight till its setting is corrected by the operator. This puts a further check on the accuracy of the weight being packed. 

 

The Weigher Machine can be used independently as a stand-alone weight filler and can be also cascaded with a variety of bagging machines to make a fully automatic pouch packing machine.
